DIY: Z Palette for Makeup

Have you heard of the Z-Palette? It is a convenient way combine your singe eyeshadows, blushes, bronzers into one palette. Not only does it decrease clutter, it also helps you utilize all your makeup more by consolidating your palettes & colors.

A standard Z-palette can range from $15-$25. I created two custom palettes for under $7.
See pictures below of how I did it using DVD cases.

materials needed

Place cardboard beneath and use box cutter to removes DVD holder

Also remove side clips

Cover outside of DVD case with printed duct tape

Add magnetic sheet or not, totally optional, to mount eyeshadow pans. You can also glue them down.

To remove pans from containers, heat in oven 350 degrees for 5-7 minutes. This will melt the glue & plastic to remove pan

End result

Arrange however you like.

Now I can see all my Wet n Wild shadows at once and create more looks as well! Let me know if you give this a try.
As always, thanks for reading!
