Natural Hair Products: My DNA Curls

Hello Lovers! Been a while...I know. But let me know bore you wit the details, let me just get back to business! LoL!
These products were sent to me by a company called My DNA Curls.

They sent them too me back in September [UGH! I know!]. But due to my technical issues, I had to delay me talking about them.

Those lovely ladies sent me a large shower come and 6 full size products!
They sent me the Leave In & Detangler, their Sulfate-Free Shampoo, and their Serum. I was super grateful for even just the comb!  I have been using these products since September and have nothing but AMAZING things to say about them.

The leave-in is my favorite and the shampoo just works wonders. Today is actually my first time using the serum, since it is mainly for smoothing straight hair. There will surely be an update on that as well.  But until then, check out the link above and here for the website and you need this leave-in for the rest of you life.

If your interested, there will be a video on my channel in the next coming weeks, talking about the each product.  And don't hesitate to ask a question or two.

As always, Thanks for reading!!

IAmGlamm Subscription Review

For the LOVE of subscriptions boxes!!
I was so fortunate to be contacted by iAmGlamm Subscription and asked to review one of their bags.

This company offers 3 beauty products and one jewelry item for just $8. Sweet deal.
All in a pretty makeup bag.

I was in love as soon as I pulled this little cutie out! Love black & white. Simple and always chic.

This gloss is from Models Prefer Lip Shine in a berry/wine color that has gold shimmer in it.  I am not a big fan of glosses so I may give this one away. [Swatch Below]

This liner I CAN NOT WAIT to use. I love a pretty color kohl pencil and silver is one of my favorites.

Deluxe Liquid Foundation Brush.  Similar to the Bare Minerals brush, the design at least.  The well in the center is a clever idea. Not sure if it works though....the brush doesn't seem dense enough.

Lastly, this cute little choker! Super excited about this one. Chocker are on trend right now and I have been wanting to get my hands on one.  Now I don't have to, thanks Glamm!!!

All in all, this bag is definitely worth more than the $8.  The items were typical beauty items that can be used for every day as well as special occasions.  This choker is for sure my everyday item, LOL!
Click the link above to check out the site and sign up for the subscription.
Use the code NEWGLAMM to get your first bag for $4.50!!

Thanks for reading loves! And let me know if you are going to subscribe!

DIY Sweet Citrus Scrub

Are your lips feeling dry?
Is your skin drying out from the cold winter air?
Do you have some dark spots on your face that you want to lighten?
Are you breaking out on your face suddenly?
How about blackheads? Are they a problem?

I have one product that can assist with all these issues.
It is all natural and you can mix it up yourself!

My Sweet Citrus Scrub

Ingredients

  • Lemon Juice
  • Lemon Peel
  • Honey
  • Coconut Oil
  • Sugar

Benefits of Honey:
  • Fights Acne: Honey is naturally antibacterial, so it's great for acne treatment and prevention.
  • Slows Down Aging: Full of antioxidants, it is great for slowing down aging.
  • Complexion boost: It is extremely moisturizing and soothing, so it helps create a glow.
  • Pores: Honey is clarifying because it opens up pores making them easy to unclog
Benefits of Lemon:

  • Heals acne and remove blackheads: Lemons' antibacterial and anti-fungal properties make them a natural alternative to treat acne.
  • Lightens dark spots and blemishes: Acne scars and marks are embarrassing and a pain to get rid of. Lemon juice's citric acid gradually fades spots and evens your skin tone.
  • Soothes chapped lips: (See above)
  • Helps tame oily skin: Due to disinfecting properties in the juice, it reduces bacteria in your pores.
  • Cleanses: (See above)

Let me know if you will try this scrub out and what you think of it.

5 Back to School Beauty Essentials

School is starting, college is almost back in session. I am sure u have all your school supplies, but what about your beauty supplies? Can't be in class looking and feeling a hot mess! So I have five B2S Beauty essentials for ya!

One
Makeup Wipes. Get the refreshing kind! Sometimes school can stress you out, get u flustered. Go to the bathroom, wipe ur face with a refreshing wipe. Not only cleans your face. Helps remove that hot n bothered feeling and leaves u refreshed.

Two
Hand Cream. All those homework papers, class schedules, school rules, etc. papers everywhere! And it just dries out ur hands. Keep some good hand cream around and keep ur fingers feeling healthy. Also, a good smell can help ease stress.

 Three
Lip balm. Same rules apply as with the hand cream. Deep breathes. Long girl convos in the hall. This may dry out ur lips. Keep ur kisser moisturized and u will be mush happier! A lip balm, Chapstick, moisturizing stain, whatever is your fav.

Four
Mascara. Simple. Just apply before school and this gives your no-makeup face a made-up look. Also, fill in your brows and take yourself to the next level! These two steps will only take u 5 minutes before class!

Five
BB Cream or Tinted Moisturizer. A good one will even out ur skin tones and cover small blemished that come along with the stress of starting a new school year. If your feel confident about the way you look, your will be able to focus on the important things like assignments and who ur eating lunch with! LoL!

I hope these tips help you get prepared for stating school, college, or just another semester. let me know down below what u do to prepare and if any of these tips help you.
As always, thanks for reading!

5 Beauty Tips [Hacks] WOC Friendly

Every woman needs to have a few tricks up her sleeve. Tips and tricks to help her save time and energy. With cooking, mothering...and most importantly, beauty!
But we can't just come out of puberty knowing everything! So I am going to share some of my favorite Beauty Hacks (Tips & Tricks) with you...Enjoy!

One

Use brown eyeliner in your waterline (instead of black) to give definition to you lids with out weighing down your look.

Two

Fill your lips in with a lipliner before you apply lipstick. This helps your lipstick last longer. If you can't find a liner the matches perfectly, use a clear (feathering) liner.

Three
Use your bronzer on your eyelids as well as on your cheeks/contour. This gives your makeup look a more natural appeal, your eyes and cheeks matching. The same can be done with blush.

Four
Use your eyelash curler to blend your false lashes with your own. Doing this step will eliminate the need to use mascara to blend your lashes.

Five
Mix BB cream or your favorite moisturizer with your foundation. This helps the lasting power of the foundation, it also allows your layer to be lighter. Light application looks more natural. It also makes your foundation more blendable.

Hope these tips help you in the morning while your enhancing your beauty. Let me know if you try any of these tricks or know of more you would like to share.
Thanks for reading!
