5 Beauty Tips [Hacks] WOC Friendly

Every woman needs to have a few tricks up her sleeve. Tips and tricks to help her save time and energy. With cooking, mothering...and most importantly, beauty!
But we can't just come out of puberty knowing everything! So I am going to share some of my favorite Beauty Hacks (Tips & Tricks) with you...Enjoy!

One

Use brown eyeliner in your waterline (instead of black) to give definition to you lids with out weighing down your look.

Two

Fill your lips in with a lipliner before you apply lipstick. This helps your lipstick last longer. If you can't find a liner the matches perfectly, use a clear (feathering) liner.

Three
Use your bronzer on your eyelids as well as on your cheeks/contour. This gives your makeup look a more natural appeal, your eyes and cheeks matching. The same can be done with blush.

Four
Use your eyelash curler to blend your false lashes with your own. Doing this step will eliminate the need to use mascara to blend your lashes.

Five
Mix BB cream or your favorite moisturizer with your foundation. This helps the lasting power of the foundation, it also allows your layer to be lighter. Light application looks more natural. It also makes your foundation more blendable.

Hope these tips help you in the morning while your enhancing your beauty. Let me know if you try any of these tricks or know of more you would like to share.

My [DUPE] Electric Palette for Only $25

An Urban Decay Electric Palette for $25?!? Half the Price!
Well not exactly...I used Costal Scents Hot Pots to create my own Electric Palette. Almost the same bright colors to create dramatic, bold looks! The biggest differences is the finishes of the shadows. Most of my pots are matte shades, which is fin with me. I can always layer on glitter or shimmer.
This was the perfect solution for me to get the bold colors of the UD palette with out breaking my bank account.

And I am also going to do at least one regular video...I am thinking vacation fashion. Like the outfits I wore. Or maybe a typical vacation makeup. Either way, it will be something!

HAUL TIME: Nail Polish

I have been watching a lot of nail art videos on the YT and it has, of course, sparked a frenzy in me.
I have always liked nail polish. I remember when I was in high school, I had buckets of polish. I would change my nails, weekly. Then I got into the acrylic nail fad and the rest is history.
Now that I am back to my natural nails, I want to wear a new color daily! Or at least every other day.

So I went shopping and hear is what I picked up...

I picked up a bunch of Wet N Wild. They were on sale at my Rite Aid (BOGO!)
From left to right (minus the other brands in between), French White Creme; Tickled Pink; Blazed; Sunny Side Up; Candylicous; Beat of a Generation; A Venice Day; Coast to Coast.

The last 3 I could not find a product picture, probably because they are new.

Also a new line in my area, Bonita Salon in the color 'Creaaamson'. A bright yellow. Applies a bit streaky And the brush wasn't the best.

A China Glaze pink in "Feel the Breeze'. It is a new one, part of a collection I think. I can't wait to try it.

Also a BOMB top coat, fast drying, Seche Vite. It is amazing! I do my nails right before bed and I always wake up to imprints on my polish. Not with this top coat. Give it a good 10 min and no worries on the imprints.

Lastly I picked up some dotters to do nail air with. I hope to perfect my skills, I don't have the most steady hand but practice will make perfect. It is art, after all.

Let me know if you have any of these colors and how you feel about them
As always, thanks for reading.
